Amazing Rod
If you fish the waters if the Puget Sound down to the Columbia and all in between, these rods are great. From trolling for big Chinook to hard hitting walleye, this rod handles it all!

Excellent Trolling Rod for the Money!
Have 4 each of both the 9'3" 15-30 and the 9'6" 20-40 and my wife and I love them. Both excellent trolling rods and possibly the best I've used for the price point. Look for them on sale ($98.00 at Christmas or around Sportsman's Show time). Lifetime warranty helps too. Soft, responsive tip, but incredible power when you put pressure on your fish. Have used up to 16 oz of lead on both without issues. I also think both would be great DownRigger rods. I haven't tried them yet, but will this coming season. The 9'3" would be a great Sockeye and Coho rod, but handles Chinook/Springs with ease. The 9'6" is a great Chinook rod, but still fun with Coho and even Sockeye. Haven't tried the 10' options as we fish out of a 17 ft Whaler, but in a bigger boat, I've talked to others that have used them and like them too. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend. They will serve you well.

Fantastic Trolling Rod
About 4 years ago we decided to try something a little longer than 8'ish in a rod for trolling Salmon. We originally tried Okuma's SST's, but found them way too soft and hated them. Asked one of the sales persons at the show the next Spring and he stated he had 'just the answer' to our dilemma; the Okuma Guide Select Classics. We are so impressed with both the sensitivity and power (my wife loves them!) we now have 4 of both the 9'3" 15-30 and the 9'6" 20-40. The tips are soft enough to load on the take, but has so much power in the mid-section, hook sets are definitive and you can easily control the fish to the net. The 9'3" 15-30 is a great rod for 14oz leads, 360 flashers and bait or spinners and I think both will make great traditional downrigger rods. The 9'3" would be great for Sockeye, Coho, and Winter Springs and also handles adult Chinook just fine, but the 9'6" 20-40 would be a 'butt kicker' in that regard. For the money (especially the on sale price at Sportco :-)! ) , the rods are built really well and are an exceptional buy and the lifetime warrantee just makes them that much better. Our boat is small, so have never tried the 10' models and can't speak for them, but the 9'3" and the 9'6" are 'killer', we have zero reservations. You will not be disappointed.
