Simon Quick Change Metal clevises are by far the industry leader in quick change clevises! Unlike the plastic quick change clevises, losing a blade off this style of clevis is nearly impossible. It can happen but after 8 months of use we have only seen it once!
Although this concept is relatively new to the industry and works almost flawlessly there is on drawback. These little guys and ALL other brands as well, WILL chafe your line after time. The reality is....metal and mono don't mix well. It is highly recommended that when using these clevises retie often and use 35# leaders or heavier.
