Product Description
Strike Zone Line counter System
Okuma's Strike Zone linecounter system incorporates a mechanical counter that precisely measures line based on spool revolutions. These counters measure in feet and are calibrated at the factory to be most accurate with a full spool and monofilament lines.
Mechanical Stabilizing System
Strong, Stable, Smooth - Okuma's Mechanical Stabilizing System is a support system that ties the spool shaft, pinion gear, pinion gear bearing, drive shaft and main gear together with a single support system allows all of these critical parts to stay in precise alignment. Designed specifically to hold up to the demands of braided and wire line fishing, the MSS support system stabilizes the spool shaft at 3 key stress points to eliminate flex under pressure – which directly translates into a reel that is more durable, stronger and smoother than the competition.

Good line counter reel for the money! Especially if you can find for 100$
Picked mine up on sale for 90$. Usually at the stores 130-150$. I love the pink because I fish with my kids and most of them are girls and now they can have their own special rod. Used primarily for backtrolling for Steelhead, Kings, and Coho in Idaho. Allows you to have that wall of death and be able to tell the kids to set them at whatever length you are catching fish. Also superior way to fish when kids are reeling in those monsters. They can let you know when the fish is 50’ away then 10’ you know to be ready with the net or get the motor in neutral!!
