They work well, and cost much less than Esbit!
These tablets are similar to the well-known Esbit fuel tablets. They are only half the size, so you need two of them to boil a pint of water. But if you just need to boil 6 or 8 ounces for a freeze-dried meal, this size is fine. They cost MUCH less than Esbits. They do leave a blob of ash behind, instead of burning away to nothing like the Esbits do. But that's a minor inconvenience. For the price, I don't mind it at all!
