“Ammo Begins an Inventory Comeback”

After multiple price increases from manufactures across the board (in hopes of finding the peak to quell demand) we think manufacturers have reached the top. Customers may accuse some retailers (including us) of “price gouging”, because of these price increases. I can reassure you – we’re not. When manufacturers increase pricing over 100% from last year at this time, our pricing has to reflect that. It doesn’t take long to search the internet to find true “price gouging”…we simply aren’t one of them. Our stores operate on slim margins (like Costco) as we have a commitment to our member base to offer the best prices we can.

The days of $8 boxes of 9mm are a thing of the past. We’re hoping to see inventories gain momentum this year and see increased competition to decrease prices in 2022.

As of right now most calibers are having longer staying power on the floor (target 9mm is the exception) and even some of our defense 9mm now lasts a few days. We believe this is attributed to cost per round and firearm owner inventory levels being satisfactory.

Price increases have gotten so out of hand that we actually started CANCELLING orders for ammunition – even we have a limit how much we’re willing to pay for a box of ammunition.

We'll continue trying to find the best deals for our customers, in ammunition and firearms. We may not always be perfect, but we will always work as hard as we can to help customers save money.

As of this moment, demand is starting to waver from the above factors mentioned. As more inventory floods the market we hope that price levels will decrease....for all of us.

We thank you always.
